The National Archive is one of the most important organizations in the country. It was established in 1902 after King Antonio II decreed that all monuments and ancient ruins of Dodonese culture should be managed uniformly across the territory rather than being under the control of each province independently. This decision was made following the theft of fifteen ancient texts from ruins in Eckhart by an unknown group. There is no knowledge of the whereabouts of these texts, which are suspected to have been stolen by the country's oldest cult, known as the Rubí.

The primary goal of the National Archive is to preserve Dodolandia's history through various artifacts, such as books, letters, texts, paintings, sculptures, and even clothing items, among many others. The National Archive consists of 155 locations nationwide, including 50 university libraries, 20 storage warehouses, 40 book and text preservation centers, 35 cultural houses, 5 administrative offices, 3 museums, and 2 high-security storage centers. Each of these facilities is strategically located throughout the country.

The largest center, which includes the National Museum of Dodonese History and Culture on the outskirts of San May Shuno, houses 2 administrative offices and one of the storage warehouses where hundreds of paintings, books, and texts documenting the country's history are archived. It features an enormous glass corridor where visitors can walk and view the massive shelves where these artifacts are preserved.

The National Archive is distinguished by the fact that every document issued by any company or national organization, whether public or private, is preserved. This includes birth certificates, death certificates, wills, and family photos for those who wish to archive them.

The National Archive offers a digital system where one can check the location of a document they wish to access. After paying a small fee, the public can access this information if it is deemed public.

Anyone can submit items they wish to preserve to the National Archive, provided that these items are accessible to the public. Universities often assign projects in which students analyze ancient documents, letters, or poems found within the archive.

The high-security centers are rumored to safeguard original copies of texts from the oldest known Dodonese ruins. However, this information is not publicly disclosed. It is speculated that the SCP Foundation is somehow involved in managing the archive, given the sheer volume of items they preserve, which exceeds the limits of imagination.
